Our Veterans

Our Veteran's are the country's greatest people and we are proud to be located directly across the street from the Rosendale-Tillson American Legion Post 1219. On a yearly basis, the Veteran's Administration supplies us with flags and stands for all of the Veteran's graves. The Rosendale-Tillson Legion Post 1219 gives these flags to the Boy Scouts along with a list of Veterans in our cemetery and the Boy Scouts place the flags each spring before Memorial Day. Each Memorial Day, the Rosendale-Tillson Legion Post 1219 goes right by the cemetery. The legion honor guard stops, enters the cemetery, and a service is conducted culminating in the placement of flowers at our Veteran's Memorial. We have a Veteran's Columbarium shown at left for interment of Veteran's cremation remains. Cremation remains of spouses of Veterans are allowed in the same niche. Prices are listed on our website price list. The Veteran's Administration provides niche markers for the niche doors if requested. Consult with your funeral director or the Veteran's Administration about procuring one. The Veterans Administration provides foot markers for Veteran grave sites. Contact them and your marker will be delivered directly to the cemetery and we will set it.
